About Ellisiv

Ellisiv Tandberg is an award-winning Norwegian pianist who has distinguished herself both as a soloist and chamber musician. She has won top prizes in international competitions, including 1st Prize at the Franz Liszt Center International Piano Competition (2024), and has performed as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, and Barratt Due Symphony Orchestra. At age 19, she recorded Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra.

She studied with Prof. Jura Margulis in Vienna and Prof. Håvard Gimse in Oslo, and completed her Master's degree in 2021 with the highest possible distinction. That same year, she was invited to perform at Musikverein Wien as a representative of her university.

Ellisiv is also a founding member of the Gift Trio, winners of the Fidelio Competition in Vienna, with performances broadcast on Ö1 and engagements at Austrian festivals. She has performed extensively across Europe and the United States, including appearances at Musikverein Wien, Oslo Concert Hall, The Norwegian Opera & Ballet, and Grieg Hall.
